Eligibility
Any person taking one or more units from the University of Arizona
during the current semester is eligible for membership. Students
must show their CatCard in order to participate in the programs/use
facilities and to purchase memberships.
Those Eligible
UA students (undergraduate and graduate) enrolled in four
units or more during the fall and spring, or three units or more
during the summer session, do not have to pay anything outside of
their tuition and fees to be a member. The Recreation Center
Bond Retirement Fee will be accepted as payment for
membership. The Recreation Center Bond Fee is posted to the
student's bursar account each semester.
CESL
Students registered for the Center for English as a Second Language
program are eligible for a current semester membership. The students must have a
CatCard and current CESL card in order to participate in the
programs/use facilities and to purchase memberships.
Continuing Education & Academic Outreach
Students enrolled in university level classes and Correspondence
Courses are eligible for membership. The students must bring a
picture identification, must be taking a credited class and be
verifiable via SIS or have a fees paid receipt verifying a credited
class. The membership will be valid for the current semester in
which the student is enrolled. Upon purchase of the membership, the
student will have one week to purchase a CatCard from the University
CatCard Office.
Semester Previous and Graduating Student Memberships
Students (18 years old or older) who were enrolled at the University
of Arizona in the previous semester and are not enrolled in the
current semester are eligible for memberships. Students must present
their CatCard at time of purchase. Previous semester enrollment will
be verified. The membership term is one semester after the
student has stopped taking classes. Those who are not automatically
assessed the Student Recreation Center Fee can pay the membership
fee at the Campus Recreation Business Office. The price per semester
is $43.42 for spring and fall which includes a refundable $3.42 Rec. Ctr. Program
fee. For the summer semester the price is $46.84 which
includes a $6.84 refundable Rec. Ctr.
Program fee for Term 2 and 3 (entire summer semester) or $23.42 for
either Term.

Term
ASU/NAU
Students are only eligible to sign up for one semester at a
time.
The fall and spring semester start dates are dictated by The
University of Arizona Schedule. For membership purposes, the fall
semester ends on the first day of spring semester. The spring
semester ends on the Monday after May commencement. The summer
semester begins the Monday after May commencement and ends on the
day prior to the first day of classes of the fall semester as set by
The University. There are three semesters in each year and four tems.
Cost and Payment
Payment Options
Fees may be paid by cash, check, debit, Visa, MasterCard, or
American Express.
Those students (undergraduate and graduate) enrolled in four units
or more during the fall and spring, or three units or more during

Recreation Center Bond Retirement Fee is posted to student's

UA students taking 3 (three) units or less during the fall and
spring, or 2 (two) units or less during the summer are eligible for
membership to Campus Recreation facilities. UA students with 3
(three) units or less during fall and spring semesters and 2 (tow)
units or less during the summer semester must pay a fee at the
Student Recreation Center, Business Office - 2nd Floor in order to
access the facilities. Membership fees are $40.00 per
semester. There is a refundable Campus Recreation Program Fee
added to the membership fee. (See Section 1.8 of the posted
membership policies)
Medical students, who are not on the same schedule as the
rest of The University, have the same total membership fee as the
rest of the student body ($75.00 per year). Students in this program
wishing to utilize Campus Recreation programs and facilities must
pay $28.42 for the summer months
(May through August). This $28.42 fee includes a refundable
$3.42 Rec. Ctr.

Household
Any current member of Campus Recreation can sponsor member(s) of
their household (18 years old or older) as a Household
Member. Household members may not sponsor another member of their
household for membership. The current member must accompany the
prospective household member to purchase the membership. The current
member must show their Cat Card. The prospective member must show a
picture I.D. Membership fees are paid at the Campus Recreation
Business Office. Upon purchase of the membership, the household
member will have one week to purchase a CatCard from the University
CatCard Office.
Student Household Member
Household members of University students are eligible to sign up for
one semester at a time. The price per semester is $75.00. Membership
fees are paid at the Campus Recreation Business Office.
Guests
Three guest passes are available:
- One Day Pass for $7.00
- Five Day Pass for $30.00
- Ten Day Pass for $50.00
Five and ten day passes are not consecutive days passes.
Passes are purchased through the Pro Shop. Payment may be made by
cash, check, debit, Visa, or MasterCard.
Guests must be 18 years of age or older and have a picture
identification indicating age.
Current Campus Recreation members may sponsor guests at any time.
The member must accompany their guest at time of guest pass
purchase. In sponsoring a guest, the member assumes responsibilities
for the actions of their guest. Campus Recreation reserves the right
to refuse admittance or sale of passes, and to revoke guest pass
privileges when necessary.
Family Recreation On weekends and University holidays (from 10:30am
to close), current members may bring members of their family, 17
years old or younger, into the facility for $1.00, per child, per
day. The member must constantly be with the minors. Children may use
everything except the weight room and cardio equipment. Please see
facility policies for specific information.
University Sponsored Guests Individuals participating in
university sponsored events (conferences, seminars, camps,
performances, etc.) may purchase a guest pass. The guest must bring
proof of their involvement in the event, such as: receipt for
conference registration, letter from program sponsor,
nametag-indicating dates of conference, etc. Event sponsors should
provide Campus Recreation with a list of participants in advance in
order to expedite the purchase of passes. |
