Retirees must show their University Retirees Identification Card or CatCard in order to purchase memberships.

Term

Employees are eligible to sign up for one semester at a time or annually.
  • Semester $95
  • Annual $250
  • Annual Plus $330

Cost and Payment

Membership fees can be paid at the Campus Recreation Business Office. Fees can be paid by cash, check, debit, Visa, American Express, MasterCard or via payroll deduction (see next paragraph).

Permanent employees of the University of Arizona are eligible to utilize payroll deduction. The payroll deduction option for employees with less than .75 FTE may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of the Department of Campus Recreation. Payroll deduction memberships are ongoing, meaning that they do not expire. Employees opting for this membership are required to continue the membership for at least one year. After the first year, the membership will continue until the member contacts Campus Recreation and requests (in writing) that it be stopped. The payroll deduction rate is based upon the Annual Membership rate (or Annual Plus rate) divided by the number of deduction-eligible paychecks the employee receives each year. The current cost for employees on a 12-month contract is $10.42 (Annual) or $13.75 (Annual Plus) per paycheck. The current cost for an employee on a 9-month contract is 13.89(Annual) or $18.34 (Annual Plus) per paycheck.

Household

Any current member of Campus Recreation can sponsor member(s) living in their household (18 years old or older) as a Household Member. Household Members may not sponsor another member of their household for membership.  The current member must accompany the prospective household member to purchase the membership. The current member must show their Cat Card. The prospective member must show a picture I.D. Upon purchase of the membership, the household member will have one week to purchase a CatCard from the University CatCard Office. Membership fees can be paid at the Campus Recreation Business Office.
