Spinning By The Seashore: Let’s Hit the Seashore For Spring Break!

On March 11th, Campus Recreation will be offering a special 2 hour Spinning ride from 5:15-7:45pm at the Student Recreation Center. Check-in will begin at 5:15pm and the ride will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Join us as on the beach right before Spring Break! Register by 2/22 and your entry fee includes a Spinning t-shirt, Spinning water bottle, and more! This endurance event is most appropriate for moderate to advanced Spinning and cycling enthusiasts. Regular participation in the Spinning program is a great way to train for this event!

Register by 2/22 to receive your Spinning goodie bag. Late registrations will not be guaranteed a goodie bag. Register at the Student Recreation Center Business Office. The entry fee is $10.00 for those who have purchased a Fall 2007 Fitness Pass and $20.00 for all other Campus Recreation members. For more event and Spinning information, call 621-8717.

May 4 Spinning Continuing Education Workshop 9-1pm at the Student Recreation Center

Continuing education workshop for currently certified Spinning instructors - Contraindications to the Spinning Program: Why don't we practice certain movements in the Spinning program that have become so prevalent in many other programs? Learn the biomechanical, kinesiological and even philosophical reasons why certain popular moves are contraindicated.
