Red Cross progressive swimming courses are taught by university students who are certified as Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. Classes are held four days a week (usually Monday-Thursday) with Fridays being held open for weather -related makeup days. Courses are offered for infant/toddlers, pre-schoolers, Level I (water exploration) to Level VII (advanced skills). Participants must attend pre-screenings! Pre-screen registration is only for one session at a time. Courses are open to children and toddlers (3 years)  up to 17 years of age from both the University and Tucson community.

*If your family  is registering more than one child in a session, you may receive a $10 discount per child registered after the first child is registered.

Swim Screening:

Children must attend a swim screening for placement into a class. Screenings for Summer 2007 will be held from 10am - 12pm on the following Saturdays 623, 6/16, 714

*Once a child is enrolled in lessons, the parent can sign-up for the next session at the last class.

The University of Arizona Student Recreation Center located at the corner of Sixth Street and Highland.
