Campus Recreation Swimming Lessons(520) 621-8718fax (520) 621-9973 Martin Tuck - Assistant Director for Aquatics, The University of Arizona, Department of Campus Recreation PO Box 210117, 1400 East Sixth Street, Tucson, AZ 85721-0117 Red Cross progressive swimming courses are taught by university students who are certified as Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. Classes are held four days a week (usually Monday-Thursday) with Fridays being held open for weather -related makeup days. Courses are offered for infant/toddlers, pre-schoolers, Level I (water exploration) to Level VII (advanced skills). Participants must attend pre-screenings! Pre-screen registration is only for one session at a time. Courses are open to children and toddlers (3 years) up to 17 years of age from both the University and Tucson community. |

*If your family is registering more than one child in a session, you may receive a $10 discount per child registered after the first child is registered.
Swim Screening:
Children must attend a swim screening for placement into a class. Screenings for Summer 2009 will be held from 10am - noon on the following Saturdays 5/30, 6/13, 7/18*Once a child is enrolled in lessons, the parent can sign-up for the next session at the last class.
