Aquatics

What We Offer

The SRC houses an extraordinary "waveless" (rim flow gutter system) lap pool, which is the second largest university pool in Arizona. The Aquatics Program offers many opportunities for instruction and leisure. Lap and recreational swim are available during the posted hours of operation. Campus Recreation members and their families under 18 can enjoy the pool on weekends and University holidays for a nominal fee (Family Swim). If your goal is to develop your swimming skills, Adult Learn to Swim and Swim Conditioning are offered through our Activity Classes. There is also always the option of Adult Private Lessons. During the summer, children's swimming lessons are offered as well. Additionally, Activity Classes offer Lifeguard Training and Water Safety Instructor courses. If you want to get involved in water polo, synchronized swim, Aquatic Sport Clubs are an option to consider.

SRC Pool Schedule

Sport Clubs Pool Use

The Department of Campus Recreation supports over 40 sport clubs (student run organizations), including Water Polo and Synchronized Swimming. As a result, the pool may be subject to partial closures for synchronized swimming events or complete closures for water polo tournaments. The complete closure is for the safety of our patrons since the playing area runs east and west. Thank you for your support and understanding This is the current schedule for events for the SRC pool this semester. We will update any changes on this website.
